Music Lessons - Terms And Conditions
PAYMENT POLICY
Lesson fees are based on the number of weeks in a school term. A monthly payment plan is also offered at our music school.
Payment is expected within 1 week of the invoice issue date.
If payment is not received within 1 week of the invoice date, a writen reminder will be sent by the administration team.
Failure to pay after 2 weeks will result in a pause of lessons.
LESSON POLICY
If students are unable to make a lesson, they can cancel their lessons on our student portal, My Music Staff, or via email. 48 hours (2 Days) notice is required, except in the case of a medical absence or emergency. With this exception, please email support@leadersofrock.com or text our team at 0424 496 550.
If a lesson is canceled late with insufficient notice (less than 48 hours notice), and the reason does not fit the categories above, it will be billable.
Where adequate notice is given for teacher and student absence, 1 single make-up credit is given. During a school term, teachers get 1 make-up credit, and students get 1 make-up credit to make up their absence. All other absences are billable, with teachers communicating homework to students via My Music Staff. Teachers will open up their availability up until Week 1 of school holidays for make-up lessons. After Week 1 of the school holidays, make-up credits expire, and unattended lessons will not roll over to the next term.
On public holidays, we will not have music lessons. These lessons will not be included in your invoice.
CHANGE OF LESSONS
We ask all students, families, and teachers to give us 2 weeks’ notice if they wish to change their lesson time at Leaders of Rock.
Teachers are expected to stick to a consistent timetable. A replacement teacher may be offered in lieu of teacher absence.
If a teacher changes their availability, the administration team will match the teacher’s new timetable with the student.
If the new schedule does not suit, another teacher will be proposed to the student, and a one-off billable trial lesson can be arranged.
We ask all students, families, and teachers to give us 2 weeks' notice if:
They wish to discontinue their music lessons at Leaders of Rock
If we do not receive 2 weeks’ notice, we will charge:
A cancellation fee of 2 lessons
You must pay all outstanding fees before departure. Failure to do so will result in reporting your fees to the Australian Tax Office as a bad debt.
MEDIA WAIVER POLICY
During events, photos, and videos of you and your children may be taken. Leaders Of Rock will use this media to spread the word on social media channels. Please email us if you would not like your photo to be published.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you respect this working agreement with Leaders of Rock.
LET’S ROCK OUT! :)
